WWII U. S. Army Model 1936 Musette Bag
The M-1936 Musette Bag was standard army issue to all personnel not needing the larger M-1928 infantry field pack, such as: Rangers, Armored Forces Troops, Paratroopers, all officers, drivers and, of course, the Army Air Forces. Most aviation enthusiasts will instantly recall this bag being prominently carried in the classic aviation film, “Twelve O’Clock High,” where Gregory Peck’s character, General Savage, can often be seen toting his Musette Bag. Our musette bag can be seen being used by all of the paratroopers in HBO’s landmark WWII television series, “Band of Brothers.”
Masterfully recreated from the original specs. in super-strong all-cotton canvas, our musette bag is indistinguishable from an original in every detail. This bag is meant to go anywhere and take a pounding, too. It can be worn with the shoulder strap, as typically done in the Army Air Force, or attached to the M-1936 suspender rig (not included) for wearing on one’s back. Perfect for daily use, camping, hiking, boating or just complimenting any U.S. 1940’s military look., it will easily hold all your basic essentials. Like our Aviator Kit Bag, this is a must for your collection.
